 Jb2: The deck after receiving 2-3 coats of WEST epoxy to harden and strengthen the surface was sanded with 220 grit paper then given a couple of coats of polyurethane varnish that contained a UV filter. |
 JB4: The front end of the footwell. The hiking strap and mainsheet block are screwed into a strong point at the back of the well. The RWO inspection port is to allow ventilation throughout the tanks when not sailing. |
JB8: The back end of the cockpit. The hiking strap is secured to eyestraps screwed into mahogany
blocks.

Jb3: The transom pintles and rudder gudgeons were the original. The stern traveler is simply a
1/8” dacron cord tied to two eyestraps. The bullet block rides on a bow shackle. I firmly believe
in the KISS system of rigging: Keep it simple, stupid!
