Charleston South Carolina

Nestled between Fort Sumter, The Battery, Palmetto Park, and Beautiful Downtown Charleston is Carolina Yacht Club, the home of the Carolina Moth Invitational and Southeast Regional Regatta.

You will be competing in historic Charleston Harbor where the Ashley and Cooper rivers collide to form the Atlantic ocean. Match your sailing skills against some of the finest Moth sailors as well as the current, tide, and mid-day wind shift whilst under the watchful eye of tourist lining the Charleston Battery and natives viewing from their antebellum widows walks. Imagine the “tall ships” and “iron clads” of yesteryear whilst vying for position at the mark.

Charleston is known for it's balmy weather, idealic sailing conditions, Southern Charm, Hospitality, and rich history. Between heats, visit the plantations, tour the historic sites, take a boat to Fort Sumter, or dine at one of Charleston’s world-renown restruants This event should prove to be fun for the whole family. Don’t miss one minute of it!
